Storybook Prague

“Live life with no excuses, travel with no regret” – Oscar Wilde

After splitting Split it was on to Prague, to meet up with Wendy and Janice. The capital of the Czech Republic is straight out of the pages of a fairytale.

We had two nights and one very full day seeing the sights, with plenty of refreshment stops!  The old town square is packed with people and sidewalk bars and cafes are great spots for people watching.

It seems every building is adorned with statues and in the square  a “thing” is statue people.

Prague is also a city of “museums” and it seems if you have any sort of collection or theme happening in your souvenir shop, then it becomes a museum.

Vintage car tours are also a “thing”

Our tour managed to find us an obelisk and stopped at the castle, which is high on a hill with amazing views over the city.

Back down the hill to the main square for a roof top restaurant lunch

Then onto the most famous bridge in Prague, the Charles Bridge – think INXS and Never Tear Us Apart.

And then the sun set on Prague and our European adventure came to a close.
